Being a mother is one of the happiest things for all women, for sure. But that simple thing turns out to be difficult for some people.
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to be a mommy. I’ve always said when I grow up I will be a mommy, nothing more, just a mommy, like any other woman. I was a ᴅᴇᴀᴅ ᴀɴᴅ Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ when i grew up . I didn’t think it would be so hard for me to have children.
She explained it would be extremely hard for me to become pregnant. I broke down in that cold exam room. The feeling I had this whole time was true. The only thing in my head was, “I can’t. I can’t have kids. I can’t ever be a mommy. I can’t be a woman for this amazing man who is counting on me.”
I was so mad at the world. And discouraged. After a couple of years trying, with disappointment. We walked into that fertility clinic like we were two lost puppies. Our doctor had also run a few tests on Layne to make sure it wasn’t anything with him, either.
After both of us doing multiple blood tests, doctor visits, painful procedures and the disappointment of another month passing by and nothing happening.
Month to month, year to year, there was still nothing close to resembling a pregnancy. All I was waiting for was a line.
Four months later we are pregnant! My husband and I did it! My heart was beating so fast from all the excitement. Once Layne turned around, his reaction was everything I hoped for and more.My heart was beating so fast from all.
Layne and I expect our sweet miracle April 2, 2019. We are so happy and fulfilled with life. Our dreams have come true. We are mommy and daddy! All our dark clouds are now rainbows and sunshine!
