Mum 17 Years Old  Gives Birth To Surprise Baby On The Toilet By Herself  No One Knew It

Aimee Stevens, then 17, was sitting on the toilet in the middle of the night and felt a ‘sᴜᴅᴅᴇɴ ʀᴇʟɪᴇF’. She looked down and saw a baby’s legs and ʙᴜᴍ ᴘᴏᴋɪɴɢ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏF the toilet.  This was just three days after Aimee discovered she was pregnant as part of a ʀᴏᴜᴛɪɴᴇ ᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ Fᴏʀ ᴀ ᴛʜʀᴇᴇ-ᴍᴏɴᴛʜʟʏ ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴠᴇ ɪɴᴊᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ. She had been told she was just five of six weeks pregnant, so her son’s arrival just three days later was a total sʜᴏᴄᴋ.

Aimee scooped her baby out of the toilet and went to her bedroom before ᴄᴀʟʟɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ᴡᴀᴋᴇ ᴜᴘ her mum, Becki, 40, who was sleeping downstairs and had no idea she was going to be a grandma. Becki ᴛɪᴇᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜᴍʙɪʟɪᴄᴀʟ ᴄᴏʀᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ sᴛʀɪᴘ ᴏF Fᴀʙʀɪᴄ sʜᴇ ᴛᴏʀᴇ from Aimee’s work apron and called an ᴀᴍʙᴜʟᴀɴᴄᴇ as Aimee ᴄᴜᴛ it with a pair of sᴄɪssᴏʀs.

Doctors reckon little 5lb 9oz Ché Andrew Cain was around 38 weeks – but don’t know for sure because mum Aimee Fʟᴜsʜᴇᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇɴᴛᴀ ᴅᴏᴡɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴏᴏ. Both mum and baby were totally healthy, and only had to spend three days in ʜᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ.
Aimee from Calne, Wiltshire, said: ‘I was in the ᴡᴏʀsᴛ ᴘᴀɪɴ ever, and ᴛʜʀᴏᴡɪɴɢ ᴜᴘ in the sink next to me, then there was a feeling of such ʀᴇʟɪᴇF. I stood up and there he was in the u-bend, I could see little bent legs and a bum, so I picked him up and walked into my room. I still think about that night a lot. It’s so confusing, but when Ché first smiled at me it was just amazing, and I can’t think what I ever did before I had him now.’Entirely unaware she was pregnant, Aimee, who turned 18 in May this year, had been studying for A levels and waiting tables at a restaurant while she was pregnant. She hadn’t noticed her periods had stopped because she was using a ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴠᴇ ɪɴᴊᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ ᴛʜᴀᴛ sᴛᴏᴘᴘᴇᴅ ʜᴇʀ ʙʟᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ, and had no ʙᴜᴍᴘ ᴏʀ ᴄʀᴀᴠɪɴɢs. Three days before Ché was born, she attended a routine appointment for a three-monthly ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴇᴘᴛɪᴠᴇ ɪɴᴊᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ, which she had been taking for over a year.Aimee said she was ᴄᴏɴFᴜsᴇᴅ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ sᴏᴍᴇ ᴘᴇʀɪᴏᴅ-ᴘᴀɪɴ ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴄʀᴀᴍᴘs, so they decided to do a pregnancy ᴛᴇsᴛ. It showed a very faint ᴘᴏsɪᴛɪᴠᴇ result, so the nurse said Aimee was probably five to six weeks pregnant.
‘I felt everything all at once, and also nothing, I didn’t know what to do, My friend who was with me for the day went to hug me and I said “No, because I’ll cry”. I phoned baby’s dad, he was confused too. I just went home and tried to forget about it. I had no ʙᴜᴍᴘ, ɴᴏ ᴡᴇɪɢʜᴛ ɢᴀɪɴ, ɴᴏ ᴄʀᴀᴠɪɴɢs, nothing.

What is Rapid Labor?
The technical term for a quick delivery like this is a “precipitate labor.” It’s defined as any birth that lasts less than three hours and usually culminates in the baby coming out with ᴀɴ, ᴀʜᴇᴍ, sᴘᴏɴᴛᴀɴᴇᴏᴜs ᴇxᴘᴜʟsɪᴏɴ. Although less time in the delivery room sounds like a dream, a speedy labor and delivery can have its problems, ᴠᴀɢɪɴᴀʟ ᴛᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ ᴀɴᴅ ʜɪɢʜᴇʀ ʀᴀᴛᴇs ᴏf ᴍᴀᴛᴇʀɴᴀʟ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs.While a precipitate delivery can’t always be prevented, doing regular prenatal exercises, like strengthening your pelvic floor, can help build the muscles you need to have the best delivery you can.
